Beautiful hair piece. Not your average hawaiian flower. It is stiffer than the cheap foam ones you get at the swap meet in Hawaii. I needed a higher quality version and this was it.

The flower hair picks are beautifully crafted and surprisingly more lightweight & realistic than I expected. Which is perfect since it is exactly what I wanted. My favorite is both of the puakenikenis because how small they are, just like the real one. But I love all of them and I can not wait to wear them everyday. Once again thank you so much ☺️

Absolutely love this. It looks so authentic. This is the second one I have had made and this seller very nicely said she'd do it even though it's not advertised. I was on a photo shoot and things got dumped on it, crushing it. Gah... So I was so happy she said she'd do it. And it's just as lovely as the last one. Beautiful craftsmanship. Thank you!

From My Hands to Yours; Hawaiian Sandbox

Back in the day, sometime between 1998-99, I entered a little shop at The Pearlridge Center in Aiea, Hawaii. I was so intrigued by their display of Hawaiian clay flowers. In that moment my intrigue turned into burning passion, I was determined to teach myself how to create God's beautiful flowers into clay. Being that I have been an artist most of my life with great respect for others' works, this artistry needed to be discovered for myself and hence, the journey began. I picked flowers, studied, sketched, sculpted, mixed mediums, and painted my way through this artistic journey, unafraid of getting experimental. Learning never ends and when I make a discovery, even in the smallest way, the passion that struck me on day 1 in that little shop, begins anew.

There are stories behind many of my creations, it could be a family grieving, a celebration of love, a birthday or simply an accessory to highlight one's beauty. I honestly can't count the amount of petals created and painted with my bare hands but I know it's in the thousands. I am grateful to create with a purpose, for life's treasured moments, it is my way of sharing Aloha in this world.
